Another week done. I am getting ready for Stratford Art in the Park tomorrow and the weather looks good!!!! Yes!!!! The weather has been so rainy that it’s been hard to get there and stay for the day. Last weekend my daughter Emma, her husband Reegan and their two beautiful daughters Chloe and Claire came for a picnic at Art in the Park. We thought we may have been saved from the storm that was predicted. But by about 11:45 the thunder started rolling in, the sky got dark, and it started to pour. Thankfully we had a lot of hands to help us get my art in the van before it got soaked. But by the time we started loading our display racks and our multitude of bins into the van it started pouring. And I mean POUR!!! By the time we were loaded I was laughing my silly head off, Claire was crying because she was almost blinded by the downpour. Emma did say that by the time they got into their truck for the ride home, they were also laughing their silly heads off.
So needless to say, I’m looking forward to a lovely sunny day in Stratford. My partner, Frank’s brother and his wife are here from BC, so it’s very nice to have a nice day for them to enjoy in the park. Hopefully, there will be a lot of visitors to the park because I know that the artist turnout will be good. It always is when the weather is fair.
